Pinnacle proudly hosted its Annual Charity Ball on October 25th at HMS Cambria, bringing together community members, sponsors, and supporters for an evening dedicated to raising funds for Woody’s Lodge.
This year’s event marked Woody’s Lodge’s 10th year since inception at the original HMS Cambria in Sully while also duly commemorating the 360th birthday of the Royal Marines.
The evening was a huge success, raising an impressive total of £15,672.22, directly supporting Woody’s Lodge’s mission to provide a welcoming space and essential support for veterans, emergency services personnel and their families.
The evening began with welcome drinks and photos, followed by a warm introduction from Clive Hamilton, Pinnacle’s Group Managing Director, a program overview from Jamie Breese, and a “Why Are We Here” message from Veteran Mark Hodgkinson. Woody’s CEO, Graham Jones, delivered an inspiring speech on giving back to those who have served.
Throughout the evening, attendees participated in a silent auction, live auction, and raffle, with all proceeds going to Woody’s Lodge. David Trotman led the evening’s traditional King’s Toast, and the celebrations concluded with a lively disco that kept everyone dancing until the early hours.
Pinnacle extends heartfelt thanks to the sponsors, attendees, and all who contributed to making the charity ball a success. Special recognition goes to Woody’s Lodge for their incredible work supporting the Veteran and Reservists community and to everyone involved in organising this annual event.

We look forward to another opportunity to make a difference together.
