Pinnacle awarded Xerox Advanced Production status

Pinnacle Document Solutions has been awarded advanced production status by Xerox UK. With this accreditation, Pinnacle joins a select group of dealers appointed by Xerox to sell their award winning digital presses.

Mark Cannons, Director and General Manager, Production Systems, Xerox UK said: “Pinnacle is a longstanding and valued Xerox partner and by adding our portfolio of digital and inkjet presses to the Pinnacle range we can build on our market share in South Wales and the South West. We provide a wide selection of value added applications within packaging, publishing, transactional marketing, direct mail and the photo market – linking digital technologies and solutions so customers can achieve reoccurring revenue streams. Pinnacle is well positioned to take these solutions to its customer base.”

The accreditation will enable Pinnacle to sell the Xerox Nuvera Digital Production Systems, Xerox Color 800i/C1000i Digital Presses, Xerox iGen and the newly launched range of digital inkjet presses including the Xerox® Brenva® HD Production Inkjet Press.

Clive Hamilton, CEO of the Pinnacle Group commented: “We are extremely proud to have gained this accreditation. Many of our customers in graphic arts have asked us to upgrade their light production presses. We can now offer these high speed presses in South Wales and the South West and offer our customers the benefit of local account management, expertise and service”.

This accreditation not only strengthens Pinnacle’s position in the region but is a continuation of Xerox’s channel expansion programme to empower Xerox channel partners with new products, solutions and additional resources.

Kevin Thomas, Pinnacle’s Group Sales Director commented: “We worked hard to earn this accreditation. We have developed an extensive technical skillset in digital production and together with specialists from Xerox we are extremely well positioned to support our customers. Short run digital production and high speed inkjet presses are strategic investments. We’ve already had some great interest from our customers who are looking at upgrading their light production presses”.

Martyn Williams, Pinnacle Group Technical Director added: “Commercial printers face three challenges: more jobs, shorter run lengths and tighter SLA’s. The Xerox range of digital presses addresses all these challenges and creates competitive advantages for our customers in the graphic arts sector.”

Xerox production solutions generate incremental revenue opportunities for the graphic arts sector. The market is moving from personalised to personal, direct mail is being integrated with digital media and now outperforms all other digital channels. Xerox also offers solutions in photo publishing, digital packaging and transactional marketing.

The Pinnacle Group provides Digital Print Production solutions to a diverse client base of small and medium sized businesses, larger enterprise customers as well as Education and Not for Profit organisations across the UK and Europe. The Group’s head office is based in Cardiff and with three companies under the umbrella, Pinnacle joins up Wales, the South West and London. From its foundation in 1989, Pinnacle has been well known for innovation, developed by working closely with global industry leaders such as Xerox, EFi Fiery, Antalis and Duplo.
