Pinnacle proudly announces our upcoming Charity Golf Day, an exclusive event supporting two remarkable charities: Woody’s Lodge and Ysgol Ty Coch.
Set against the backdrop of lush greens and fairways at the Vale Resort, this event promises a day of sporting excellence and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans, emergency service personnel, and children with special educational needs.
Woody’s Lodge: A Haven for Heroes
Woody’s Lodge is an exceptional charity that provides a sanctuary and support hub for Veterans of the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, and Reservists and their families. Founded in honour of Paul “Woody” Woodland, a Royal Marine lost in a training exercise, Woody’s Lodge is more than just a meeting place. It’s a lifeline, helping with financial issues, healthcare, housing, and employment.

Ysgol Ty Coch: Shaping Brighter Futures
Ysgol Ty Coch, located in Pontypridd, is a beacon of hope and excellence in special education. The school’s philosophy centres around creating a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, secure, and healthy, enabling them to thrive in their learning.
With a curriculum tailored to individual needs, focusing on critical areas like communication, numeracy, and well-being. Ysgol Ty Coch is committed to ensuring every child enjoys their education journey and is equipped with vital skills for societal engagement.
Join Us for a Day of Golf and Giving
Our Charity Golf Day is structured to provide participants with an enjoyable and fulfilling experience:
- 10:30 – Sign in and kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast.
- 11:30 – The golfing begins! Participate in our Shotgun Golf Start, a format that allows all groups to start simultaneously from different holes.
- 16:00 – After an exhilarating day on the course, enjoy some well-deserved relaxation with a shower and change.
- 17:00 – The evening culminates with a delightful dinner, where we’ll present awards and host a raffle with fantastic prizes.
The cost for this memorable day is £95 per person, or take advantage of our special group rate of £370 for a 4-ball team.
Participating in this event means you’re not just enjoying a day of golf but contributing to two noble causes. The funds raised will directly aid Woody’s Lodge in its mission to support our heroes and Ysgol Ty Coch’s dedication to nurturing young minds.
