Objective
The customer was using an older machine that was presenting registration
issues. These issues started to have cost implications for the business.
The customer also used offset printing and wanted to switch to digital printing
so that all the staff could fix issues if the printer malfunctioned.
Solutions
Pinnacle demonstrated product quality using samples from a previous print job.
In addition, the account manager demonstrated the automation aspects of the
Versant 280, which included automatic readjustments, creating new profiles for
different job types and auto-registration.
The overall quality of the Versant 280 was better than that of competitors whilst
offering more colour options and printing applications and sitting a the same
price point. In turn, keeping their customers happy with a large assortment of
printing options.

3. Cost-per-page Reduction: The cost-per-page rate meant that print costs were the lowest to date. Despite the initial cost of the machine being slightly more, with a competitive situation analysis, the overall cost of the Versant 280 lowered the overall cost for the customer.
